Yanis: “The atmosphere was spectacular, a unique experience”

The Malaguista winger spoke to the media in the press conference after the match against SD Huesca. “The more competition we have, the better the team will be,” he stated.

Atmosphere
“Very happy. The atmosphere was spectacular. I was eager to experience it, and the feeling, especially when the anthem is being sung, is truly unique.”

‘Re-debut’
“In my first match, I was also very happy. I was eager to play for Málaga, and everything was great. Today, I fought hard, had some chances, and I'm still happy. Today we enjoy, tomorrow we rest, and starting Monday, we'll focus on Granada.”

Haitam
“In the dressing room, he was quite down. He’s a guy that everyone likes, he works very hard, and I’m sad for him. I hope it’s nothing serious because we need him, he’s a great player.”

Injuries and competition
“When we're all together, the pitch will determine who plays. It's unfortunate, injuries make the team weaker. The more competition there is, the better the team will be. Having everyone available is the best for the team and for me because it will prevent any complacency.”

Individual
“I felt good and comfortable. I was active through the centre, on the right, and on the left, and I created chances. I'm not at my peak yet, but I enjoy that freedom of movement. It's crucial for players like me and Cordero to have that freedom within a structure to showcase our talent. Hopefully, in the next game, both crosses and shots will find the back of the net.”

Maturity
“I manage my emotions pretty well. I’m at a stage of maturity and feel calm in that sense. I’m not looking to please anyone, I know that if I play my football, I’ll convince people. I always want the ball and always ask for it because I can create more danger with the ball at my feet. I’m eager to ask for it to enjoy myself, and if I do things well, I’ll end up pleasing others.”
