Álex Pastor joins the Blue and White defence

The centre back arrives on a free transfer from FC Andorra. The player and the Club have signed a two-season relationship.

Álex Pastor Carayol (1st October 1999, Cornellá - Barcelona) is a young footballer who operates as a central defender. Resolute, with speed to defend spaces and with a great ability to start the game with the ball from his position, he is a key element for the configuration of a strong defence.

He grew up in the youth ranks of RCD Espanyol until he was 15, when he joined UC Sampdoria in Italy. From there he was loaned at just 18 years old to Vis Pesaro 1898, of the third national category, playing 26 official matches. Finally, in 20/21 he signed for FC Andorra, which at that time was playing in the former 2ªB division. In the following season, in 21/22, he achieved a historic promotion to the Second Division (current LaLiga Hypermotion) with Andorra.

In the silver category he has played a total of 46 matches, the second of them against Málaga CF at the La Rosaleda Stadium which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Álex Pastor arrives as a free agent at Málaga CF, joining for two seasons. The footballer, after passing the medical examination at the Vithas Rosaleda Medical Center this Thursday, has signed his new contract and will join his new teammates next Monday 15th July.

Welcome, Álex!
