Power for the attack with Roko Baturina

The Croatian striker, with experience in LaLiga Hypermotion, is Málaga CF's third addition during this transfer window. He arrives on loan for the current season, with a purchase option, from Portuguese side Gil Vicente.

Roko Baturina (20/06/2000, Split - Croatia), is a centre forward who stands out for his forcefulness in the area and his nose for goal. Furthermore, he boasts a long career in European football despite his young age; he has a fruitful experience in LaLiga Hypermotion wearing the Real Racing Club jersey in the last two seasons.

He took his first steps in the world of football in the city where he was born, first at Hajduk Juvenil in the 2015/16 season, and then at RNK Split in 16/17, making his debut with the first team in the top Croatian category. From there he moved in 18/19 to the lower categories of Dinamo Zagreb, where he finished his training between the Juvenil team, competing in the prestigious UEFA Youth League, and the reserve team. In 19/20 he scored five goals in 13 games and debuted with the most successful first team in the Balkan country. In that winter market he went on loan to Slovenian NK Bravo and scored eight goals in 16 games.

In 20/21 he transferred to Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros, where he debuted in the UEFA Champions League and finished the season with seven goals in 23 matches. After two spells on loan at Lech Poznan (Poland) and NK Maribor (Slovenia), he was also loaned out to Real Racing Club in LaLiga Hypermotion.

With the Cantabrian team he quickly adapted to Spanish football and emerged as one of the revelation players of the second round in the silver category. In less than four months he scored four goals and made two assists in 14 games, proving to be a very effective player for the team, since all of his goals served to achieve victories.

In 23/24 he was transferred to Gil Vicente, his current club, with whom he played the first half of the season scoring three goals in 19 matches. At the halfway point of the winter transfer market he returned to Santander to play 12 games and score a goal, which also led to three points, in a team that was close to the playoff spots for promotion to LaLiga EA Sports.

Baturina is a player with extensive continental experience at still 24 years old and has shown notable performance in the 26 games he has played in his first experiences in Spanish football.

The player, who arrives on loan from Portuguese side Gil Vicente, passed the relevant medical examination this Monday at Vithas Rosaleda medical centre and signed the contract that links him to the Entity for the current season.
