Cueva de Nerja, new Málaga CF sponsor

The Nerja Cave Public Foundation joins the Entity as a sponsor for the next three seasons and will appear on the pre-match shirt of the male first team.

The Cueva de Nerja is one of the largest visitor epicentres in our province. This majestic whim of nature, located in Maro (a district of the Costa del Sol municipality of Nerja), has been listed as a Site of Cultural Interest since 2006. In addition to the impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, we find archaeological remains inside, such as cave paintings of incalculable scientific value.

The Cueva de Nerja Public Services Foundation, whose management falls to the Subdelegation of the Government of Spain in Malaga, Nerja Town Hall and the Provincial Council of Málaga, are responsible for the conservation of this jewel of Málaga.

As of today, Málaga CF and the Nerja Cave have joined forces for the next three seasons. The foundation's logo will appear on the shirt that Málaga players wear during warm-ups at official matches. The agreement was presented this Wednesday at La Rosaleda.

General manager, Kike Pérez, was present on behalf of Málaga CF, and the president and Subdelegate of the Government of Spain in Málaga, Francisco Javier Salas, the first vice-president and mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, the provincial deputy of Málaga, Sandra Extremera, representing Francisco Salado, president of the Provincial Council, and José María Domínguez, manager of the FPSCN, were present on behalf of the Cueva de Nerja Public Services Foundation.

“It is a great honour to wear the Cueva de Nerja logo on our pre-match shirt. The relationship with the subdelegation of the Government of Spain in Málaga is extraordinary and we are grateful for their trust. We are convinced that this union will be fruitful for everyone,” said Kike Pérez, general manager of Málaga CF.

Welcome to Málaga CF, Cueva de Nerja!
