Ramón, one of our own

The midfielder raised within the MCF Academy renews his commitment to the Club for the next two seasons. The number '6' will be Blue and White until 2026.

Ramón Enríquez Rodríguez (Órgiva, 2001) arrived from Granada as a young lad to join the MCF Academy in the 2013/14 season. Manel Casanova paid attention to his individual technique and an innate talent for passing in the wide area of midfield, which made him progress quickly within the lower teams.

Being part of a generation of promising footballers from the MCF Academy, Ramón has been a regular in the youth ranks of 'La Roja' up to the Under-19 category. The player from Granada made his debut with Málaga CF in the opening match of LaLiga SmartBank 19/20, winning at El Sardinero (0-1) against Real Racing Club de Santander.

His consolidation in the first team, whilst still registered to the reserve team, came at the start of the 20/21 season, where he accumulated 29 games in the core of Sergio Pellicer's 11. Currently, Ramón has played 85 games with the Blue and White jersey, being one of the current captains of the first team.

With this move, Málaga CF extends its relationship with one of the Malaguista leaders, securing a midfielder with great organisational capacity and outstanding passing quality.

Congratulations, Ramon!
